Wednesday November 26, 2008 (6 weeks, 3 days)Today was an exciting day at the doctor office. We were able to see our little lima bean on the ultrasound, and more exciting we could see the flicker of a heartbeat. Doctor said that the baby's heart rate was a strong 133 beats per minute (anything over 100 at this point is good).
We got our first printout of the ultrasound, but unfortunately without seeing the movement it is hard to see the baby. We go back in 4 weeks, at which time (around 10 weeks) we should be able to hear the heartbeat as well!

Sounds like the baby is really in the target cardio zone with it's heart rate...Claire needs to be sure she's hydrating enough and eating plenty of complex carbs if she doesn't want the baby to "hit the wall".
